Cute overload

My tweets

  • Fri, 21:36: *A Scholar & A Physician* Light-hearted, shambolic & shouty electronica with an infectiously devil-may-care attitude. Irresistably danceable
  • Fri, 21:38: *The Yarns* Like an acoustic singer-songwriter with the backing band that so many of that ilk desperately need to give variety, depth & pace
  • Fri, 22:21: *Tiger Mendoza* A lady sings over fuzzy guitars, murky samples & a skittering drum machine. All rather Sneakerpimps-esque. I approve.
  • Fri, 23:08: *The Workhouse* Rippling layers of guitars with occasional dispirited male vocals & consistently well-scrutinised shoes. Comfortingly mopey.
  • Fri, 23:43: "This is a song about being forced to eat everything in your wallet... Merry Christmas." - The Spring Offensive. It is, as well.
  • Sat, 00:45: *Spring Offensive* Indie rock with complicated rhythms & 3-part harmonies, tight playing, smart lyrics & charismatically awkward banter. Ace
  • Sat, 00:48: Biked home through the frost with five(!) new CDs; a sign of an excellent gig (though one *is* a Lionel Richie single from the lucky dip...)
