Previously, I had dismissed this band as competent but underwhelming pub rock. Reassuringly, they proved me completely right.

Decent jumpy ska. The ideal soundtrack to a picnic in the sun, which attracts friends like one of those beer-filled slug traps

Dense, murky, stream-of-consciousness rapping in a montone drawl over country-flavoured beats. Dryly charming between songs.Yes!

Heavy, hooky, punky rock; interspersed with incongruous country tunes. Good, if a tad baffling. Staving off cold with layers & tea

The Epstein

Loved their slow mournful songs, less taken by their pacier country rock numbers, but enjoyed them nevertheless. Excellent.

Goldrush

I always dismiss them as dull, so was surprised to hear a rather nice (if Coldplay-esque) track. Then they reverted to form...
